General Domicile Requirements

To be eligible for the State Quota seats under ACPC Gujarat, candidates must satisfy specific domicile and schooling criteria. The general conditions include:

B.E. / B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Qualifying Exam Passed 10+2 (Science Stream) from Gujarat Board, CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, or an equivalent board located in Gujarat.
Mandatory Subjects Physics and Mathematics are compulsory, along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject.
Minimum Marks Minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS candidates) in the above three subjects combined.
Entrance Exam Must have appeared for GUJCET 2026 (for State Quota) or JEE Main 2026 (for All India Quota).

Is JEE Main compulsory for B.Tech admission through ACPC?

No, GUJCET is the primary exam for state quota seats in Gujarat. However, a small percentage of seats in self-financed and government colleges are filled through JEE Main (All India Quota).

Do I need to be a resident of Gujarat to apply?

For state quota seats, you generally need to have passed your 12th from a school in Gujarat or your parents must be of Gujarat origin. Outside state candidates can apply for All India Quota seats.

What is the minimum percentage required in 12th for B.Tech?

Candidates must secure at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics, and their chosen third subject combined.

Is NATA mandatory for B.Arch?

Yes, a valid NATA score is strictly mandatory for admission into B.Arch courses through ACPC. No other entrance exam is accepted for Architecture.
